Extreme Productions Becomes First Middle East Rental House to Deploy Green Hippo’s Award-Winning Hippotizer MEUSE MX Series

As the region’s live event and entertainment market surges, the pioneering production company brings next-generation media server technology to one of the world’s most ambitious creative markets.

Dubai, UAE – The Middle East is building the future. From Saudi Arabia’s giga-projects to the UAE’s ever-expanding portfolio of world-class venues, the region has become one of the most creatively ambitious live entertainment markets on the planet. The productions happening here aren’t just keeping pace with global standards, they’re setting them.

Now, those productions have a powerful new tool in the rack. Extreme Productions, one of the region’s most established and respected production companies, has become the first rental house in the Middle East to invest in Green Hippo’s award-winning Hippotizer MEUSE MX Series Media Servers, making the platform immediately available to designers, programmers, and production teams across the region.

A Market That Demands the Best

For nearly three decades, Extreme Productions has been a driving force behind some of the Middle East’s most significant events, from high-profile government summits and international sporting ceremonies to landmark concerts, brand activations, and large-scale cultural celebrations. Founded in Jordan in 1997, the company now operates across Dubai, Riyadh, and Amman, serving clients including Amazon, Microsoft, MBC Group, and Publicis Live.

Their decision to invest in the MEUSE MX Series is a direct reflection of what’s happening across the region: productions are getting bigger, more technically sophisticated, and more visually ambitious. The Middle East isn’t waiting for the rest of the world – it’s leading.

“We need tools that match the ambition of this market,” says Vincenzo Testa, Partner and Technical Director at Extreme Productions. “The MEUSE MX gives our clients access to the highest level of media server performance, right here in the region. That’s a gamechanger for the productions we’re delivering.”

What MEUSE MX Brings to the Table

The Hippotizer MEUSE MX Series is built for productions where compromise isn’t an option. Its four swappable output modules support HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and 12G SDI, giving production teams the flexibility to configure the server for any output environment. Built-in genlock ensures frame-accurate synchronization across complex multi-screen and multi-projector setups, while 54,191 Notchmarks of real-time effects processing power means designers can push creative boundaries in real time. Uncompressed playback delivers pristine visual quality.

For a market building immersive experiences at an unprecedented scale, projection-mapped palaces, LED-wrapped concert stages, interactive event environments, this kind of performance isn’t a luxury. It’s a requirement.

A Strategic Partnership

“This is an important milestone for both companies,” says Tom Etra, Senior Sales Manager for Green Hippo. “Having MEUSE available through Extreme Productions significantly expands the visibility and accessibility of the MX Series in one of the fastest-growing production markets in the world. Their track record and client relationships make them the ideal partner to bring this technology to the region.”

The collaboration underscores Green Hippo’s strategy of partnering with leading rental houses worldwide to ensure that the most advanced media server technology is available wherever the most ambitious productions are happening.
