The 2017 edition, held in the presence of senior UAE leadership, recognized excellence across 22 institutional and individual categories. With over 38 government bodies participating, standout winners included the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Interior.

For the 2017 Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award Ceremony, Extreme Productions delivered the LED screen production for the event.
